Taking place once every two years, the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition or Auto China for short, has grown in stature since its first outing in 1990 and now generates a huge buzz in auto circles as almost every car manufacturer and their affiliates tries to get a toe hold on the world’s largest automobile consumer market. While Auto China is undoubtedly an important event for the world’s automobile manufacturers, it is a bigger opportunity for China’s burgeoning auto industry to showcase their latest technology and models. The latest edition is set to take place from 25th April to 2nd May at two venues, the vehicle segment is to be shown at the China International Exhibition Centre in Tianzhu and the auto components part at the China International Exhibition Centre Jinganzhuang.
